Mr. Ashesh Acharya has been involved in development sector since 2010. He completed Masters in Development Studies in 2016 from Kathmandu University. He has expertise in data analysis and android survey design. Mr. Acharya has experience of various research and evaluation works as a team member, performing roles such as field data coordinator, android survey designer, data analyst and external consultant. He has extensive experience in fields of livelihoods, market systems, gender and social inclusion, disability and animal rights. Mr. Acharya has been involved with ATC since 2018 in various projects.
graduate research assitant
Mr. Santosh Shrestha is an undergraduate in Agriculture with specialization in soil science from Purbanchal University. He has been working at Agricultural Technology Centre for more than 1.5 year as graduate research assistant. His field of expertise covers laboratory analysis of soil, plant, compost, and water, survey methodology,soil sampling, field data collection and analysis and interpretation. He has provided several farmer level and technician level trainings on agricultural productivity intensification and market management through market-oriented production system, soil testing kit box. He has also participated in several national and international trainings.


Research technician
Subit Thapa is a research technician in ATC and has been involved with ATC since last three years. He is responsible for performing laboratory tests as well as sample collection. He has also participated in various research activities in ATC .
Laboratory technician
Mrs. Amrita Dahal has been involved with ATC for the last five years. She works as a laboratory technician and assists in day to day functioning of the laboratory. She has expertise in sample preparation, routine analysis of soil, plant and organic fertilizer. Along with her work in the laboratory she has also participated in various soil camps organized by ATC.

Mrs. Rohini Bajracharya has been involved with ATC for last two decades as a laboratory technician. She has closely worked with senior soil scientist Ms. Dibya laxmi Bajracharya for the last 20 years and is one of integral members of ATC. At present she handles activities such as sample preparation, routine analysis of soil, organic fertilizer and plants. She has participated in various soil camps carried out by ATC along with performing day to day activities in the laboratory.

Mr. Saurav Ranabhat is an undergraduate in Agriculture. He has expertise in data collection and has led volunteers in few research carried out by ATC. He has good leadership skill and technical proficiency in agriculture crop production and management.

Mr. Suman Sharma is an undergraduate in Agriculture and specializes in Plant Protection. He has worked with ATC as a soil sample collector and has also participated in other research works carried out by ATC. His field of expertise includes plant protection technologies, soil sampling, remote data collection and analysis. He has leaded few farmer level trainings on pest management, improved cultivation practices for vegetable crops.

Ms. Deekshya Adhikari is an undergraduate student and has been involved with ATC as an intern since 2018. She has working knowledge of GIS and data collection using android devices. As an intern she has performed analysis of soil, compost and plant. She has also good technical knowhow on using Soil Kit box, application of GIS, etc

Prashant Raj Giri is an undergraduate student and has been involved with ATC for past two years. He has a well-rounded knowledge of GIS, photo editing and soil chemical analysis. He has been involved in various research projects in ATC and is also involved with other organizations like IAAS, NARC, YPARD, etc. HE has leaded several trainings on GIS, photo editing, poster creation, soil and pest management, etc

Mr. Som Lal Tamang is an undergraduate in Agriculture specializing in soil science. He has participated in various soil surveys and research works carried out by ATC. He has good knowledge of soil, plant protection, agronomy and horticulture. He is currently working as lecturer at Sindhuli.

He is a trained technician and has knowledge of IPM, soil testing, data collection, nursery management and mushroom farming. He has been involved in different programs at ATC. He is able to handle soil testing kit box, resource mapping, report preparation, etc.

She has been involved with ATC since 2019 and has knowledge of soil testing in laboratory as well as using soil testing kits in the field.
